Linkwood 26 Year Old Rare Malts 1975 Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromas that suggest lemon zest, Seville orange, green apple and floral elements.
Palate: On the palate, the whisky is rather sweet, with noticeable acidity, and notes of lemon, flowers, vanilla cream, hints of pepper and ginger.
Finish: The finish is quite unique, rich and long lasting.
Distillery Information
An unsung hero in the world of single malts, Linkwood Distillery was established by Peter Brown in 1821, but wouldn't see production for another four years. Located on the outskirts of Elgin in the Speyside region, the distillery remained in the Brown family until the end of the nineteenth century.
