This Highland single malt has been release by Loch Lomond distillery to celebrate their partnership with The Open golf championship. This expression has been crafted by Master Distiller Michael Henry in collaboration with legendary golfer – and now Loch Lomond ambassador – Colin Montgomerie. Bottled at 46% abv, it's presented in a handsome gift box complete with two limited edition Loch Lomond whisky glasses.

Nose: Soft fruits, peach and pear, with vanilla syrup.

Palate: Sweet and fruity, honey and peach with orange citrus and creamy vanilla.

Finish: Medium length, a touch of smoke giving way to lasting fruit notes.

Distillery Information

Loch Lomond Distillery was commissioned by the Littlemill Distilling Company in 1964 with first distillation in 1966. In 1984, the distillery closed - or fell silent, to use the traditional term. Happily though, Alexander Bulloch and the Glen Catrine company acquired the business and resumed malt production in 1987. Grain whisky production began in 1993 and two new malt stills were added in 1999.
