Nomad Outland Triple Distilled Single Malt Whisky | 700ML

Created using triple-distilled single malt from the Great Northern Distillery in County Louth, Ireland that was aged in bourbon casks for three years, this Nomad edition was then transferred to Bodegas González Byass where it is popped into oloroso sherry casks previously used to mature the González Byass Alfonso. The maturation takes a year before the whiskey is bottled up at 41.3% ABV.

Nose: Crème brûlée, toasted spices, oily walnuts, sweet pears, and gingerbread.

Palate: Drying spice leads to fruitcake, vanilla, wine-stained oak, orange peel, and dark chocolate.

Finish: Long and elegant.

Distillery Information

The González Byass wine story began in Jerez in 1835, when young entrepreneur Manuel María González started out as a wine trader. Rapid success led him into wine production, helped by his uncle José Ángel, known affectionately as Tio Pepe, after whom he named his first solera.
