Proof & Wood is the creation of Dave Schmier, a decades-long industry veteran who founded Redemption Rye in 2010. Schmier has a tremendous talent for sourcing top-notch spirits, and he scored some of the finest barrels the legendary Indiana-based MGP distillery had to offer for bottling by Redemption.
