A limited 2026 release commemorating the 55th anniversary of the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever. Distilled in 2007 and matured for 18 years, the whisky combines sherry-seasoned European and American oak with American oak casks previously seasoned with red wine, alongside bespoke hybrid sherry-seasoned casks. The result is a richly layered yet surprisingly elegant Macallan with dark fruit, gentle sweetness, and refined spice.

Nose: Sweet fig, plum pudding, treacle, toasted marshmallow, baked apple, dried fruit, and creamy vanilla, with subtle sherry richness.

Palate: Elegant and surprisingly light, with creamy vanilla and caramel followed by preserved pear, apple, cocoa-dusted chocolate, darker fruits, and gradually building oak spice.

Finish: Long and refined, with apricot, berries, nutmeg, gentle baking spice, cocoa, and a lingering touch of oak.

The Macallan was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid on the Easter Elchies estate in Speyside and has developed a worldwide reputation for exceptional single malt Scotch. The distillery is particularly renowned for its meticulous cask management, small copper stills, and emphasis on sherry-seasoned oak. Today, The Macallan operates under the Edrington Group and continues to combine traditional craftsmanship with innovative cask selection. Its collaborations with James Bond have become some of the distillery's most collectible modern releases.
