Volans 6 Year Old Extra Anejo Limited Release Tequila | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Expect an aromatic cascade of mature agave notes, accompanied by the rich complexity that six years in bourbon barrels provides. There's an earthy backbone, a testament to the nutrient-rich red soils from which the agaves were harvested.

Palate: The heart of Blue Weber agave pulses vibrantly, wrapped in layers of seasoned oak, vanilla, and caramel. The flavor profile is a journey through the best of Jalisco's highlands, with a subtle sweetness that's rich but never cloying.

Finish: An enduring finish that carries the weight of its age with grace. The warmth of aged tequila lingers, leaving behind memories of vanilla, oak, and mature agave.

Distillery Information

In 2007, I married Cristina, she grew up in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. My in-laws have spent their entire lives living in Jalisco. Miguel, my wife’s father, is an agronomist and has raised agaves, avocados, & blueberries in Jalisco and Michoacán.
