A twice-barreled rye whiskey that takes Woodford Reserve’s classic 53% rye recipe and gives it a second maturation in a heavily toasted, lightly charred new oak barrel. The additional oak maturation brings deeper caramelized sweetness and roasted character while preserving the spicy, herbal profile of the rye. Rich layers of dark fruit, chocolate, toasted nuts, vanilla, and baking spice create a full-bodied and complex expression.

Nose: Seasoned leather, cedar, dark fruit, toasted nuts, chocolate, sweet oak, and vanilla.

Palate: Warm rye spice with dark caramel, roasted coffee, dried fruit, toasted nuts, vanilla, and rich oak.

Finish: Long and layered, with lingering dark caramel, molasses, dried fruit, toasted oak, and baking spice.

Woodford Reserve is produced at the historic Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky, on a site where whiskey production dates back to 1812. The distillery is operated by Brown-Forman and is known for its distinctive approach to bourbon and American whiskey production. Woodford Reserve Rye uses a 53% rye mash bill inspired by pre-Prohibition rye whiskey traditions, while the Double Oaked Rye extends that foundation through secondary maturation in a deeply toasted, lightly charred oak barrel.
