Producer Information
The Napa Valley Reserve is a wine estate in the heart of the Napa Valley wine region on Silverado Trail that operates as a private club with over 600 members. Members are able to be involved with the winemaking process from harvest to blending, the extent of which is at their own discretion. The Reserve estate covers 80 acres (32 hectares) and includes 60 acres (24 hectares) vineyards as well as orchards, the winery, barrel cave and an expansive garden. It was founded by William Harlan in the early 1980s, originally as a cattle ranch. Today, the winemaking team is led by Bob Levy of Harlan Estate. Members may be involved with the full spectrum of the winemaking process. Plots of the vineyard can be allocated to members with the heavily-invested participating in everything from harvesting the grapes by hand to designing their own wine labels.
