Dark ruby garnet with violet reflections in the glass. In the nose a pleasant fruity scent of wild berries with hints of sour cherries and violets. On the palate juicy, complex and elegant with fine herbal spice, cardamom and blackberry notes.

The history of the Schwarz winery can be traced back to 1711. The winery, which now covers 2.5 hectares, has been managed by Ing. Johann Schwarz since 1984. In the years 1993 -1995 the cellars were rebuilt. In the vineyards of the Schwarz winery, the grape varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Chardonnay mature into high-quality grapes that are processed into high-quality wines. About 60% of the cultivation area of ​​the Schwarz winery is on the mountain terraces, a large part of it in the individual location of the Schreiberberg. Because of the magnificent view of the Danube valley, which stretches from Spitz to Dürnstein, the Schreiberberg is also known as the "Wachau Balcony".
