It produces a portfolio of premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines from organically and biodynamically farmed fruit. The first vineyard was planted in 1999 by John and Karen Bergström, and today the family owns five vineyards across four AVAs: Dundee Hills, Chehalem Mountain, Yamhill-Carlton and Ribbon Ridge spanning a total of 34 hectares (84 acres). The estate's first vineyard, the Bergström Vineyard, is composed of volcanic basalt and planted to 5ha (13 acres) of vines, including six different clones of Pinot Noir and three clones of Chardonnay.
