Producer Information

The Bertani family has the longest tradition of producing wines in Verona Italy dating back the 17th century. In 1800s the Bertani brothers started to produce the first Verona dry wines exported to more than 20 nations supplying the Italian and British Royal families. In 1920s They started to produce our early Amarones were exported worldwide under the name of “Recioto Tipo Secco” and “Acinatico”. Produces seven estate grown wines from three valleys in Verona, Veneto, Italy. These are fine boutique wines with a distinctive elegant and classic style. Tenuta Santa Maria di Gaetano Bertani work is terroir focused and consistent with our family’s heritage in expressing the identity of the Amarone docg, Valpolicella and Soave docs.
