Santa Rita Hills Chardonnay has a light gold color in the glass and a bouquet of verbena, lemon peel, melon and sea breeze that suggest a refreshing, enjoyable wine. On the palate, bright, mouthwatering acid is highlighted by notes of salinity and continues through to an inviting, smooth finish.

• Wine Enthusiast: Broad white peach, honeysuckle and gardenia aromas are pillowy on the nose of this appellation blend. It's soft on the palate with the slightest edge of citrus, as clean flavors of ripe apple, peach and melon make for a complete sip.

Alma Rosa Winery is situated on the north-facing slopes of the Santa Rosa Hills in Santa Barbara County. Our wines are layered, vibrant and balanced, and they reflect the special terroir of the Sta.Rita Hills, which benefits from cool Pacific Ocean breezes funneled inland through the unique transverse mountain range of our region. Our wines — most produced in small batches of less than 400 cases — represent the best of the Sta. Rita Hills. We invite you to try our selection of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines, as well as some of our Rhone varietals, including Syrah and Grenache.
