      Alessandro Viola Note di Rosso 2021 is a medium-to-full-bodied red wine from Alcamo, Sicily. A blend Nero d`Avola, Nerello Mascalese and Perricone, this vibrant and approachable Sicilian red is juicy and thirst-quenching, with Mediterranean notes of ripe strawberries and liquorice root.

                                        Producer Information

                                        Alessandro Viola grew up in Sicily with a father who cultivated grapes for sale and for the needs of the house. Subsequently, he trained as a winemaker and could not fail to notice in adulthood how more and more producers are turning away from pesticides and high-tech methods to focus instead on healthy soils and wines. pure. Alessandro came into contact with natural wines while working in Georgia and Piedmont, which inspired him to start his own business just south of the town of Alcamo in western Sicily. The project was first named Uva Tantum, then shared with a company. Today, Alessandro Viola works himself under his own name and cultivates seven hectares in three different places with clay-limestone soils.
