In 1948 André Dezat took over the running of the Dezat estate and his sons Louis and Simon joined him in the 1970s. In Pouilly Fumé the family owns the 10 hectare Domaine de Thibault where the heavier soil gives a fuller wine. A small amount of Pinot Noir is produced from plantings in Sancerre, from which they also produce a deliciously elegant Rosé.
