Since July 2023, a page has turned and a new chapter has begun: Laurent Héritier, now the new owner of Cave des Tilleuls, has bought back 100% of the shares. Fabienne Cottagnoud headed down the fabulous path to retirement, and after several months of careful research, we finally discovered a rare gem from Hérémence in the person of Madeline Hall (-Gauye). Madeline, with her experience and passion for wine, proved to be the ideal choice to take the reins of oenology at Cave des Tilleuls. In our small cellar and its 3 and a half hectares of vines, the wines are imbued with emotion and authenticity. Each grape variety, from a specific terroir, is treated with the respect it deserves. Our wines tell stories, evoke landscapes and reveal the soul of the vine. Our promise? To perpetuate the know-how and quality of the wines of the Cave des Tilleuls, for the benefit of traditional Valais grape varieties, by sublimating the terroirs and the authenticity of each cluster. A challenge that we face with optimism, despite the climatic hazards and the difficult economic situation.
