Intense ruby. On the nose it expresses itself with hints of black cherries, blueberries and plums, notes of coffee and hints of liquorice and leather. On the palate it is vigorous and full-bodied; the tannic texture is velvety and the finish is pleasantly elegant.

In the Bolgheri area, on a total area of ​​400 hectares of which 64 are planted with vines, stands Tenute Le Colonne, the closest to the sea among the companies in the area. The influence of the Tyrrhenian Sea can be felt in the wines of Tenuta Le Colonne, one of Dievole's two Bolgheri companies, both in the Bolgheri Doc and in the Vermentino: this proximity, combined with the volcanic nature of the soil, contributes to the creation of unmistakable and non-replicable labels nowhere else. Sustainability, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, is one of the cornerstones of the company, which looks at wine with a modern and never banal eye. The vines are the classic ones of Bolgheri: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot for the reds and Vermentino for the white.
