Ardmore 25 Year Old - Marriage (The Single Malts of Scotland) Whisky | 700ML

The Marriage of Casks (The Single Malts of Scotland) series has been bolstered by another lovely single malt Scotch whisky, this time from Ardmore Distillery. The 1997 vintage whisky was aged for 25 years in a hogshead cask and then bottled at 47.5% ABV.

Nose: Winter spice, shortbread, milk chocolate, and strawberry.

Palate: Red berries, eucalyptus, vanilla, fresh herbs, and citrus.

Finish: Dark chocolate and ginger.

Distillery Information

Ardmore was founded in 1898 as part of the late-Victorian wave of Scottish distillery openings. It was constructed by the blending company William Teacher & Sons as their first production facility. The location near Kennethmont was chosen due to its proximity to the east Highland barley fields and River Deveron.
