Ben Nevis 1997 VM is a 24 year old Single Malt whisky from Scotland. Bottled in 2021 at 47.5% this bottle will make a fine addition to any Scotland Single Malt whisky lover. Please note that this The Vintage Malt Whisky Co Ltd. (VM) is Bourbon. It is also worth mentioning that this is uncolored, non-chillfiltered, cask strength, single cask whisky edition of Ben Nevis. This is one of only 240 bottles ever produced. A fact, that makes this edition even more desirable.

Nose: Buttery vanilla, mango and citrus-spicy perfume
Palate: Mouth-filling, exceptionally smooth with banana and fresh papaya, waxy herbal notes with green fruits and a light mineral touch
Finish: Great length with a late oiliness and more fruit.

Founded by John “Long John” MacDonald in 1825, Ben Nevis Distillery is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. Nestled at the foot of Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, which has a summit elevation of 4,413 feet above sea level, they have been crafting malt whisky from the highest water source in Scotland for nearly two hundred years.
