Distilled in the early 1900s and sealed with an 18-karat gold medallion. Courvoisier acquired this rare lot from the family of one of the company’s winegrowers in Jarnac, in the heart of the Cognac region.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant and delightful.

Palate: The palate is very powerful and complex. Smooth texture.

Finish: Elegant long lasting aftertaste.

Distillery Information

1828-1866: Félix Courvoisier and Jules Gallois, the sons of the original merchants, established a new business in Jarnac focusing solely on Cognac, allowing them to have greater control of the process. Félix Courvoisier established the House in 1828 and built Maison Courvoisier as its proud soul place in 1857.
