The list of botanicals is a feast in itself, including quince, nutmeg, cinnamon, mulberry, honey, cubeb berries, and almond, to name a few. The Lord of Misrule was a title awarded annually by Henry VIII and his nobles, who would appoint a member of the lower classes to reverse position with the king for 12 days, giving them full authority over the court's feasting and partying!
