Detailed Description
A big, bold, richly sherried single malt from the Kilchoman Distillery, and this time, it's all about Pedro Ximénez sherry! A total of 33 casks were used for this expression, including nine Pedro Ximénez casks that fully matured its whisky, as well as 24 Pedro Ximénez casks which finished its whisky for a period of 12 to 18 months. The result is an Islay dram that blends traditional smoky notes with the sweetness we all love about Pedro Ximénez. Gosh, we said "Pedro Ximénez" a lot in that paragraph, didn't we? Suppose that's appropriate, really, considering the whisky.

Nose: Strawberry bonbons, Seville orange, sweet peat, and Raisin Bran.
Palate: Chewy dates, runny caramel, smoked barley leading into a crackle of black pepper.
Finish: Coastal breeze wafts out through dried fruit and candied peels.
