New Holland Artisan Spirits Blue Heaven Gin

100 proof spirit infused with 12 botanicals: juniper berry, coriander, angelic root, orange zest, lemon zest, cinnamon, ginger root, orris root, cardamom, fennel, clove, and nutmeg. The spirit is then steeped on blueberries, distilled to 150 proof, filtered through 3 particulate filters and bottled at 80 proof. Blue Haven Gin showcases the bounty and beauty of our local agriculture, featuring blueberries from between the Havens on the west coast of Michigan, the blueberry capital of the United States. Juniper and citrus-forward gin is steeped on blueberries, adding delicate berry notes and slight, nuanced sweetness.

Nose: Nose is classic London dry with balanced aromas of Italian juniper berries, lavender, summer roses, ripe tangerines and Meyer citrus blossoms.

Palate: Full-bodied on entry, mid-palate Turkish delight sweets, orris root and candied ginger finish, balancing floral aromas with earthly Rutherford dust base.

Finish: A warming finish.
