Single Malt Yoichi 20 year old 1989 is made from four different types of malt whiskies, distilled at Nikka Whisky Yoichi Distillery in 1989. Re-charred cask, new cask, and sherry butt are used for maturation. Light and heavy peated malt whiskies, filled in re-charred casks add character to this single malt.

Yoichi distillery is a Japanese whisky distillery. It is located at Yoichi, a town in the Yoichi District, Shiribeshi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. The distillery is owned by Nikka Whisky Distilling, and was opened in 1934.
