Penderyn Red Wine & Cognac Small Batch Single Malt Welsh Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Perfumed with sweet fruit notes, honey and vanilla. With a light hint of nuts.

Palate: Sweet and fruity. Fresh white grapes and pears with some exotic mango and papaya. Lovely baking spices mingle with hints of honey.

Finish: Notes of candied fruits, with spices lingering to finish.

Distillery Information

"The company was launched in 2000 as the Welsh Whisky Company. Whisky had been distilled in Wales for hundreds of years, but stopped in 1894. Penderyn became the first whisky to be manufactured in Wales for over a century when sales started in 2004."
