Scapa 34 Year Old 1988 (cask 10586) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail) Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich spicy ginger aromas lead to honey and ripe exotic fruits, lighter citrus notes with a touch of dried apricot and aniseed develop.

Palate: Sweet and creamy, with white chocolate, zesty orange, and ripe white peach flavours with a prickle of black pepper.

Finish: Long finish with lingering butterscotch, oak, and delicate herbal influences.

Distillery Information

Since 1885 the Scapa Flow whisky has been distilled on the coast. The still was built by John T. Townsend and Macfarlane on the site of a former mill. At the end of the 19th century, blended Scotch whisky was booming and Scapa was used for the production of several blends from the John Townsend company.
