Southwell Straight Bourbon Whiskey was distilled in Tennessee, aged in Kentucky and bottled in Bardstown, Kentucky. 86 Proff 43% Alc/Vol.The Southwell small batch bourbon is 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley. A whiskey with this high corn content in the mash bill assures hints of extra sweetness in the finish. Aged 12 Years in a new charred oak barrels. By definition, bourbon must be made with more than 51% corn. Many are made between 60 to 70%, but very few bourbons exist today with over 70% corn.

Nose: Nose full of corn and wonderful bourbon spice.

Palate: Good spice and oak combination with the predominance of gentle sweetness.

Finish: Nicely toasted oak finish.

Distillery Information

St-Germain was created by distiller Robert Cooper[5] and launched in 2007 by Cooper Spirits Co,a company founded 2006 and headquartered in New York. In 2013, the company was sold to Bacardi, and Robert Cooper agreed to work with Bacardi as a "brand guardian" and spokesperson.Robert Cooper died in 2016 at the age of 39.
