SPEY 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML

Launched in early 2025 as part of a new core range, SPEY 18 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the famous Speyside Distillery. Aged initially in bourbon casks, it was then finished in sherry casks and bottled non-chill-filtered at 46% ABV.

Nose: Malt, juicy peach, and freshly baked apple. The sweetness of bubblegum and muscat grape juice with a hint of minty freshness, alongside fruity notes and rich woodiness. Reveals hints of perfume and caramelized crème brûlée after a while.

Palate: Sweet and smooth honey cake, with notes of hops, citrus peel, and tropical fruit sweetness.

Finish: Elegant and pleasing, lingers to showcase a rich complexity.

Distillery Information

"Virtually unseen as a single malt – it has appeared under the Drumguish and Glentromie labels and is the liquid in the Loch Dhu ‘homage’ Cu Dubh – the distillery’s whisky is still further traveled than many of its compatriots. The mature spirit has appeared, incognito, in blends across Asia, has been launched in Mongolia, is a single malt range (called ‘Spey’) in Taiwan, and has been added to neutral spirit to produce Bhutanese whisky."
