This Whisky Matured in American oak hogsheads and left at a natural cask strength of 50% ABV, Talisker Xpedition Oak is limited to only 1830 bottles from a selection of just ten casks; a truly special single malt Scotch, presented in a beautiful bottle and housed in an intricately-crafted wooden box.
Talisker Xpedition Oak 43 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Note
Nose: Mellow overall and slightly spicy, with a fruity top note of bruised apple and smooth, aromatic hint of wax.
Palate: A smooth texture and a vibrant, juicy start introduce a sweet, rich intensity with a fresh, balancing splash of ocean salt spray.
Finish: Wonderfully long, with a considerable sweet chili-pepper warmth that suffuses the whole palate.
