Tecnico Aneoj tequila is their aged ("anejo") expression, meaning it will have spent 18 months in oak prior to bottling (a full 6 months longer than the minimum 1 year required fro the anejo designation). In wrestling fashion, they call it an "unstoppable force." Tecnico tequila is a brand that pays homage to the Mexican Lucha Libre known for masks and outlandish stunts. Tecnico wrestlers are the "good guys"... those who "never cheat and always follow the rules." The "noble" style that requires years of training was the point of inspiration for the tequila and that leads to the great characters showcased on the bottle.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Medium oak wood, vanilla and raisins with faint hint of citrus.
Palate: Smooth and sweet. Distinct oak wood complemented by vanilla, raisins and honey, with a hint of melon.
Finish: Caramel and smoky notes.
