Detailed Description
Detailed Description
Brought to us as part of The Whistler collection from Ireland's Boann distillery, this Irish whiskey matured in a trio of different cask varieties. The blend brings together a combo of Irish single pot still, single malt, and single grain whiskey matured in a host of bourbon, oloroso, and Pedro Ximénez casks for a rich, full-bodied character, layered with dried fruits, spices, toasted oak, and caramel.

Distillery Information
Boann Distillery, an Irish family enterprise, is perhaps best known for producing "The Whistler" range, known for its remarkable quality and intriguing flavour profiles. Situated in the lush landscapes of County Meath, Ireland, Boann epitomises the synergy of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary innovation, placing it distinctively in the thriving world of Irish whiskey. The Whistler products, celebrated for their invitingly rich and multifaceted flavours, offer a splendid journey through the character of Irish whiskey. Employing a meticulous process that harmoniously blends age-old distillation techniques with modern methodologies, Boann ensures that every sip of The Whistler resonates with the heritage and purity of the Irish lands. Traditional malted barley, cultivated under the gentle Irish skies, undergoes a scrupulous distillation process within the sanctum of Boann's copper pot stills. These stills, under the watchful eyes of skilled distillers, play a pivotal role in imparting The Whistler’s signature smoothness and characteristic warmth. Once distilled, the spirit is allowed to embark on its maturation journey within carefully chosen casks, where it will weave its magic over the years, absorbing the rich narratives from the wood and the environment.
