The process starts with corn and rye. The corn is then milled and mixed with yeast and water. The mixture is then heated and cooled before the yeast is added.The sugar solution gives the whiskey its sweetness. Woodson Batch 5 Maize Label Bourbon Whiskey is bottled at 80 proof. The bottle has a cork stopper with a woodgrain label. The label features a logo of an ear of corn and the text "Woodson Batch 5 Maize Label Bourbon Whiskey."
