Ruby red in colour , thanks to aging it acquires characteristic amaranth reflections. It looks like a hot wine, very complex and articulated, both in terms of taste and smell.

Producer Information

Established as a small importing business and one man band by the late David Holt in 1981 we were originally set up to import the fine wines of Patriarche Père et Fils to the UK, and for many years traded as Patriarche Père et Fils Ltd. As other producers were taken on a sales team was hired, of which Keith Isaac and Charles Ancliffe were a part. Keith joined the company in 1987 and passed the MW exams in 1989. He was later promoted to General Manager in 1996, and at this time changed the trading style to Patriarche Wine Agencies, to reflect better the growing agency portfolio from around the world. He still holds the reins today. Charles was his right hand man until very recently when he retired after nearly 30 years of loyal service. Having been owned by Patriarche Père et Fils from the beginning we were sold to Champagne Castelnau in 2013.
