(Maison) Marchand-Tawse is a leading Burgundian negociant and domaine (Domaine Tawse) based in Beaune, producing a wide range of wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. These range from regional Bourgogne wines to those at the Grand Cru level.The company, which was formed in 2010, is a joint venture between Moray Tawse of Tawse Winery in Ontario and Quebec-born winemaker Pascal Marchand, formerly of the top Domaines Comte Armand and la Vougeraie.It initially focussed entirely on negociant releases from bought-in fruit and wine, The extensive portfolio now also includes a number of wines from estate-owned parcels.Branding of the wines can vary depending on vintage. Some wines from Pascal Marchand's personal portfolio were brought under the Marchand-Tawse umbrella while retaining his name only on the main label.
