      Detailed Description

Highly expressive with a perfumed nose of fresh pear, lemon, tarragon, and floral nuances. The wine is vivacious showing depth as it opens up. One will be enthralled over the mineral-tinged Meyer lemon, pear nectar, white peach, and honeysuckle on the mid-palate. The floral and mineral theme keeps driving on the long, finely etched finish.

        Producer Information

Arterberry Maresh is an Oregon wine producer found in the Dundee Hills AVA (American Viticultural Area). The family-owned estate is managed by the third generation of the Maresh family. Vineyards were planted in 1970 by Jim Maresh who at the time was a pioneer of the winemaking industry in Oregon. Maresh influenced the wine industry with heavy involvement in the legislation of Oregon's farming and agricultural zoning. Today, the estate has some of the oldest Pinot Noir vines in the state. The estate has 124 acres (50 hectares) of vineyards. Here, a deep clay loam soil type up to 12 feet in depth provides ideal water retention whilst giving plenty of depth for root systems to penetrate. The wine portfolio is composed of two varieties; Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The flagship wine is the Arterberry Maresh Pinot Noir from the Maresh Vineyard. The Dundee Hills Chardonnay spends 12 months in barrel and six months in stainless steel prior to bottling whilst the Weber Vineyard Pinot Noir is sourced from Pommard clone vines that were planted in 1983.
