Producer Information

The Bera family has been viticulture in the Astesana hills in Canelli since 1758. It is those lean and bitter hills, but strongly suited to the production of wine that have conquered the ancestor Giovanni Battista to buy them. In 1964 the conversion to organic farming took place, a choice that has been tenaciously carried forward until today by Vittorio's children, Gianluigi and Alessandra, as a real philosophy of life. Today the company runs ten hectares of property in a strictly family-run manner in Canelli, in the Serramasio area, in the heart of the most classic and ancient production area of ​​Moscato d'Asti. Similarly in the cellar we operate by reducing intervention to a minimum, to obtain a wine that is of maximum territorial expression. In this way wines are obtained without the use of selected yeasts, enzymes, chemical-physical treatments of various kinds, concentrations and so on. The flagship of the company is the Moscato d'Asti, with a powerful and sunny but elegant structure, to which are added small but qualified productions of the most classic and traditional wines of the "Asti homeland".
