Benriach 22 Year Old Triple Distilled Whisky | 700ML

Benriach is always looking for an eclectic mix of barrels from around the world, selected for their exceptional character and flavors to be delivered to the whiskey. The casks are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated or triple distilled. The distillery is known for its long-standing tradition, and with the end of 2019 creates a new range of products that will bring out even more the diversity and versatility of Benriach's "orchard fruit style", covering the entire spectrum of whiskey tastes. The color palette of the gift boxes and labels is inspired by the natural environment of Speyside. Benriach 22 Years Old is the oldest triple distilled whisky from the distillery to date. It is aged for 22 years in sherry, bourbon and oak casks.

Nose: Sweet, fruity, notes of orange, chocolate, red apple, apricot.

Palate: Rich, soft, notes of caramel, mocha, hazelnuts, chocolate.

Finish: Long lasting.

Distillery Information

John Duff, a serial entrepreneur within the whisky industry, established Benriach in 1898. Having pursued whisky adventures at home and abroad, John decided that the best place to build his new distillery would be on a small hill, or 'Ben' at the site of the old 'Riach' farm, in the north of Speyside.
