Boone County Distilling Co. Small Batch Bourbon was released in 2019. The expression pays tribute to William Snyder, who arrived in Petersburg, Kentucky in search of new business opportunities. Together with his brother John, he purchased a steam mill in 1833, eventually transforming it into a distillery. This expression is a blend of young and mature barrels aged between 5 and 14 years. Bottled at 90.8 proof, it's a balanced and flavorful bourbon with notes of oak, vanilla, almond, and caramel.
Boone County Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose is light with vanilla, oak, cookies, almond, and a touch of caramel.
Palate: Look for oak, caramel, vanilla, and almond biscuits on the gently sweet and round palate.
Finish: The finish is smooth with lingering rye and baking spice notes.
