To celebrate a quarter of a century of Old Malt Cask single malts Hunter Laing has bottled 25 single malts including this Miltonduff expression which was aged in a single sherry butt for 13 years. A release of 548 bottles.

Nose: Purple fruits, wine gums, blackcurrant cordial.

Palate: Fruit compote, buckwheat honey, dark chocolate.

Finish: Lingers on dark fruits and oak spice.

Distillery Information

Andrew Peary and Robert Bain founded Miltonduff distillery in 1824. The distillery had previously operated illicitly on the site since the turning of the century, but following the passing of the Excise Act, Peary and Bain established the distillery as a legitimate business operation.
