This might change with the introduction of Murmichan, which is said to be the first Scottish absinthe! It's made with a combination of traditional (wormwood, aniseed, fennel, star anise) and Scottish botanicals (bramble leaves, heather flower), and has been bottled at 64% ABV.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
