Aged for 11 years, this was distilled back in 2009, just a year before the Lowland distillery sadly closed its doors for good. There was an outturn of 274 bottles from this cask, it's a rather rare and wonderful drop indeed!
Peg Whisky Limited Edition II Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Note
Nose: Soft caramel, fresh lemons, sweet vanilla, and drying wood.
Palate: Creamy vanilla custard, lemon curd, and almond croissants progress to prickly, peppery spice.
Finish: Further, lingering pepper spice, plenty of oak char, just a waft of peat and smoky firewood.
