Sons of Liberty Battle Cry Single Malt whiskey is one of several single malts emerging from the distillery. In this case, the base distillate is the same recipe as a Belgian Ale with an addition of malted rye and honey malt (the addition of rye stretching the commonly understood term of "single malt whiskey"). This particular expression is bottled at a higher proof (92 as opposed to 80) and finished in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks (a practice very common in the scotch world).

Nose: A welcoming aroma with a mix of spice and subtle sweet notes.
Palate: On the palate a nuttiness with intense dark fruit flavors, complemented by hints of anise and pepper from the mash bill.
Finish: A remarkable mouthfeel with a long finish.
