Actually, it's single malt Scotch whisky, but it's been given the name Ultimate Apple Pie by Wemyss Malts, as a nod to its flavour profile. Specifically, this whisky was distilled by Glen Moray in 1996, and matured in a single refill hogshead for 25 years. Just 245 bottles were produced. Sorry for the ruse about this being an apple pie earlier, by the way. We don't sell apple pie on our website. Yet.

Nose: Toasted brown sugar, ice-cream wafers, cooked pear and apple.
Palate: Marmalade, cinnamon, flaky pastry, quite buttery at points, before a flash of oaky spice.
Finish: Gingerbread, waxy apple peels, buttered bread.
