Nose: Fresh orchard fruits leap out first – crunchy apples and just-ripe pears – backed by vanilla shortbread, orange zest, and a hint of sandalwood. A subtle thread of toasted rye runs underneath, like a warm countryside breeze.

Palate: Toffee apples and honey-drizzled porridge give way to a pleasing rye crackle, while notes of marmalade, marzipan, and stewed plums bubble up. A smart hint of barrel char and dark chocolate keeps things grounded.

Finish: Cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of salted caramel.

Woven is a whisky-blending studio in Leith. It was started by friends who wanted to change how blended whisky is made. They wanted it to be more personal, less industrial, and more enjoyable. They see their work as a global mission, beyond just individual efforts. For Woven, blending is about creativity, community, and collaboration. They believe it brings strength and value to group work. They want to improve and redefine blended whisky. Their whisky-making mixes different influences. It comes from chance meetings, inspiring stories, and skilled people. They use old and new traditions and techniques in their Leith studio. Their goal is to change how people see blended whisky. Woven uses top whiskies from around the world. They treat each whisky the same when blending. They choose whiskies for their contribution to the final product. This doesn't depend on origin, age, cost, or reputation. Their blending process aims to create something unique and better than its parts. This matches their simple but different approach.
