Caledonian 32 Year Old 1987 (cask 23482) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory) Scotch Whisky | 700ML

A rare bottling of whisky from the Caledonian Distillery - a wonderful sight! This single grain Scotch whisky was distilled in 1987 (the distillery would be closed a year later in 1988) and matured in a single hogshead cask for 32 years. Eventually, Signatory came along and bottled it up in March 2020 for the Cask Strength Collection, with only 204 bottles produced.

Nose: Bounty bars, liquorice, hazelnut cream, papaya and mint.

Palate: Dried banana, orange zest, roasted coffee richness and a soft prickle of cinnamon.

Finish: Toffee, praline and buttered toast.
