Distillery Information
Old Carter Whiskey Co. is a small batch Bourbon and Rye whiskey producer based in Louisville, Kentucky and producing a number limited bottlings. The company was established by Napa Valley winery owners Mark and Sherri Carter (of Calistoga based Carter Cellars), sourcing Straight Rye, Bourbon and American Whiskey from around Kentucky. The husband-and-wife team select individual barrels for label and oversee blending. The core of the range is based around the Straight Rye and Straight Bourbon labels. A number of aged release expressions (released as "American Whiskey") and single-barrel labels are also produced.
