This version from the Vieux Sajous 5 Years is the result of a blend of barrels that have contained Hampden, Mount Gay, Bielle, Caroni rums as well as whisky from the Benriach distillery and finally bourbon.

Nose: Impressive and charming nose.

Palate: The palate is very powerful and complex. Smooth texture.

Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.

"Velier is an Italian company, more precisely Genoa, the city from which it inherited its talent as a great merchant. A certain Casimir Chaix founded the company in 1947, then developed it until 1953, when it began to assert itself as an importer of wines, spirits and delicatessen products."
