Producer Information
Podere Rocche dei Manzoni is an Italian wine producer based in Monforte d'Alba in the region of Piedmont. The estate is synonymous with the wines of Barolo, and is also well known for its sparkling wines made in the Methodo Classico. Rocche dei Manzoni was established by Valentino Migliorini in 1976, and today covers five vineyards: Vigna Cappella di Santo Stefano, Vigna Madonna Assunta La Villa, Vigna Ciabot d'Agust Ginestra, Vigna Big 'D Big and Vigna d'La Roul, the estate vineyard. The Nebbiolo grape dominates these sites. Vigna d'La Roul is the estate's most important vineyard plot, although Vigna Madonna Assunta La Villa is the source of Rocche dei Manzoni's only Barolo Riserva wine. This single-vineyard riserva was first released in 2009 and is the newest addition to the estate's Barolo portfolio.
