In the heart of the Saint-Emilion appellation, neighboring the Premier Grand Cru Classé "A" Château Pavie and the Grand Cru Classé La Gaffelière. The sandy soil on clay veins brings elegance, charm and suppleness to the wine. The very particular care taken both in the vineyard and in the vinification allows Château Chante-Alouette to claim the Grand Cru appellation each year. Château Chante-Alouette was taken over in 1995 by the Guy d'Arfeuille family, which owned other vintages in the Libournais. The estate was able to benefit from the experience of its elders. Benoit d'Arfeuille has been able to boost this cru by increasing the production area and by practicing a vinification that combines tradition and modernity. Engaging in an environmental policy means adopting new rules within your company that will reduce your impact on the environment. This investment for the future also makes it possible to become strongly involved in the protection of our planet and to respond to a real desire of the consumer who is to consume products from cleaner and more reasoned agriculture.
