        Reviews:

        • Wine Advocate: Totally sourced from the White Hawk Vineyard, and aged in 65% new oak for 23 months, there are 508 cases of this beautiful Syrah. Notes of creme de cassis, blackberries, spice, incense, flowers, ground pepper, licorice, and subtle smoke are followed by a full-bodied, layered, multidimensional, big (15.6% alcohol) Syrah. Beautifully balanced, elegant, and pure.

        Producer Information

After training in the Sine Qua Non cellar for eight years, Maggie Harrison got the chance to produce her own label from a small portion of the prestigious White Hawk Vineyard in Santa Barbara County. With that, she released the first vintage of 2004 Lillian Syrah and has continued to produce wines from the vineyard as well as the Bien Nacido Vineyard in Santa Maria Valley, and the Stolpman Vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley. The wines are fermented with native yeasts and are unfined and unfiltered which further adds to the finesse and elegance of Lillian.
