Eight hundred hectares, located in one of the most popular wine-growing areas of Sardinia. Rolling hills and plains overlooking the sea welcome the vineyards of the Santa Maria La Palma winery, in an area with optimal soil and climate characteristics. It is here, in fact, that the mild temperatures and exposure to the winds coming from the coast have created an environment favorable to the production of quality wines, a strong expression of their territory. In the vineyards, the members of the winery were able to immediately choose the most suitable crops for the peculiarities of their farm. Today we know the history of each of those grapes, and we know how to take care of them so that they continue to produce the best bunches. Immersed in this unique microclimate, the winery has given space to traditional Sardinian vines, soon discovering in Cannonau and Complementary souls of the same land, wines appreciated all over the world for the strong identity of their structure. the most important native crops for its production.Vermentino In these lands, the rich heterogeneity of the soil has allowed the winery to plant other equally valuable grapes, such as Monica or the Cagnulari. The latter, for centuries confined to a limited area of ​​northern Sardinia and almost forgotten by the island's growers, has been rediscovered and valorised, finding a precious gift from our land in the quality of its fruits. Today, Cagnulari expresses its best characteristics in the limestone soils of the territory of Uri, Usini and Ittiri, about 20 km from the sea, and in the locality of Guardia Grande, at the foot of the Monte Doglia complex.
